Recent Reviews (June 2026)
"My son felt 'at peace' during the session because he believed you when you said it was straightforward. He said, 'Because I know he is autistic with ADHD too, if he says his brain finds it straightforward, then my brain must be able to.' It's certainly the calmest I've seen him doing maths, and he seemed more confident, even in saying when he could not do something." — Mother of a 12-year-old Child with ASC, ADHD & PDA Profile, Bath
"I can't believe he can do all that after a year out of school. It's brilliant. He's calmer and more helpful at home. His confidence has been boosted and I hope his transition to college will be smoother" — Mother of a nearly 13-year-old Child with ASC, ADHD, and PDA, Frome (Electively Home Educated) (Feedback received after completing a series of Year 8 Physics and Maths sessions)

Professional Profile
I am a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher with eight years of classroom experience across Secondary and Middle (Y5-Y8) schools in Bristol and Somerset. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am fully certified in Safeguarding Level 2 and Prevent. My teaching philosophy focuses on building confidence and stretching students and finding that spark beyond the National Curriculum.
Subject Specialisms- (I can fully resource)
Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics): Expert tuition up to GCSE. Specialising in KS2 and KS3 (9-14 year-old) engagement and stretch and challenge targets to inspire future scientists.
Sustainability & Innovation: Coached a team of young innovators for the global tcs GoIT Challenge. I mentor students in design thinking and technical solutions (Apps, AI, IoT, GIS) for the UN Sustainable Development Goals. See the link --> tsc GoIT Monthly Challenge , UN Sustainable Development Goals Global Finalists!
Hands-On STEM & Kinesthetic Learning: I am a firm believer in "learning by doing." I am more than happy to facilitate safe STEM practicals using available household items or specific equipment you may have at home. I'm starting to build a small stock of apparatus chemicals used in schools to facilitate chemistry experiments from home! We can work together to find the right tools to make science tangible, and I promise to try my best not to blow up your kitchen while doing so!
I offer flexibility for daytime weekday sessions tailored specifically for the Elective Home Education (EHE) and EOTAS communities. Whether you are looking for an immersive, daytime science curriculum for your child at home, or looking to team up with local families for daytime group learning, I can seek to accommodate your schedule.

As a proudly neurodivergent teacher with lived experience of ASC (and currently navigating the diagnostic process for ADHD and Dyspraxia), I offer specialised mentoring. I act as a supportive role model for neurodivergent students, helping them to:
Reduce school-related anxiety.
Build genuine self-esteem.
Develop learning strategies that work with their neurotype, not against it.
Finding the inclusive learning strategy that works best for your child
Tailored EOTAS & EHE Delivery: Providing consistent, structured, yet highly adaptable daytime sessions that align with EOTAS packages or customised home-education philosophies. I focus on creating a safe, low-demand learning environment where students can build their relationship with education at their own pace.
The "Special Interest" Advantage: I am a firm believer that engagement is the key to retention. I am happy to frame tuition around your child’s special interests, whether that’s space, gaming, animals, or history, to make complex topics accessible and exciting.

Venue & Location
Convenience & Flexibility: I aim to make these sessions as accessible as possible. Support can be facilitated at a location convenient for you, such as your home or a suitable local space.
Independent Room Hire: Please note that while we are in our establishment phase, if a session requires the booking of an independent room or community venue, the hire cost will be split evenly between participants as a small additional charge. I will always discuss these costs with you transparently before any booking is confirmed.
A Note on Costs: I am acutely aware that money is tight for many families right now. If these rates are a barrier for your child, please do contact me privately, I am more than happy to negotiate a price that works for your circumstances
