Our Mission: To empower every neurodivergent young person by providing the space and support they need to excel on their own terms. We aren't here to "fix" anyone—we are here to build a tribe where being different is your greatest strength.

Tutoring Expression of Interest Form
Initially launching as a specialist sole-trader provision while our CIC status finalises, We offer specialised tuition tailored for neurodivergent learners and "SEND-betweeners". We are fully inclusive and welcome all students, including those undiagnosed, awaiting assessment, or neurotypical allies.
Our primary specialised offer is KS2/3/4 Science
Other subjects offered on request can include at the KS2&3 level: Maths, Humanities and Computing and A-Level Chemistry & Biology.
Our 1-to-1 or small-group evening sessions will aim to provide a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Confidence Building: Focus on academic success without the sensory or social pressures of a traditional classroom.
Flexible Location: Sessions can be facilitated at a location convenient for you.
Authentic Learning: A "mask-off" space where students can be themselves while mastering complex Science topics beyond the rigid national curicullum.
Expert tuition during the school day, specifically designed for those for whom traditional schooling isn't the right fit:
Electively Home-Educated (EHE): High-level Science support to supplement home learning.
Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA): Gentle, expert-led sessions for children currently unable to attend school.
Sensory-Aware: Small group or individual sessions that respect individual processing speeds and sensory needs.

2. Autism Mentoring: Through the Lens of Lived Experience
Our mentoring service offers more than just advice; it offers connection.
Authentic Support: Mentoring for autistic young people, delivered by someone who truly understands the autistic experience through a double empathetic approach.
Identity & Confidence: Focusing on self-advocacy, navigating transitions, and embracing one's neurodivergent identity.
A Peer-Led Approach: Moving away from "fixing" and towards empowering young people to understand their own brains and navigate the world with confidence.
Somerset Tribe will aim to bridge the gap between mainstream education and the specific sensory and cognitive needs of neurodivergent youth
Once the CIC is established, we will apply for grant funding to widen our impact:
Subsidised Support: Discounted rates for Pupil Premium, FSM students and Young Carers.
The Youth Provision: Evening and holiday sessions combining high-level STEM, GoIT, Chess, and Creative Writing in a safe, social space.
Community Events: Hosting extracurricular events that school budgets cannot facilitate to enrich our local community.
Adult Social Groups: Dedicated spaces for neurodivergent adults to connect and build community.
Our Ethos: We don’t just accommodate neurodiversity; we celebrate it. We provide the tools, the environment, and the lived-experience connection for our community to excel.
Community Guarentee: Once established, our assets will be locked in and reinvested for the benefit of the neurodivergent community in Somerset.
